A time that i witnessed injustice was when i went to Mexico a few years back. We had just arrived to a little town from the airport( where my uncles picked us up). When unexpectedly we were pulled over by their cops. As they approached us, we asked for the reason they had pulled us over, their response was they didn’t recognize us and the vehicle was not seen there before( a lie because the truck had been there for a few years). After the answer they asked us to all get out of the car and walk to the hood of theirs. That’s when we were all padded down with our hands on the hood, while they were searching the car. It was all a perspective that made me realize how the government there runs. I had realized that they just do it for people that don’t know and get money out of them because they are strangers. The way the do it is if they get money they let them go, luckily for us we knew all this and we rejected further conversations. While the car was being searched they had our id’s and they were looking at them to see who we were they then wrote our names down on a notebook and left. The part that they didn’t care about patting and searching a minor was a eye opener because it showed how little they cared for people that aren’t from there. So much injustice is done there but it’s a survival game that people play so nothing bad happens to them.
